The chestnut colt, HDA Spurs and Latigo (aka "Chubby"), is a full brother to HDA Leather and Lace. Their dam is a bay non characteristic appaloosa mare. She is a granddaughter of Ima Little Lena by Smart Little Lena.

HDA Minnie Pearl is a palomino filly (with white spots on her hips) sired by Special Report and out of a sorrel quarter horse mare, Sans Jo Royal Rita. See a photo of "Rita" on Our Herd page. "Rita" has some all time greats such as Hollywood Gold, Mr. San Peppy, Doc Bar, Joe's Last, etc. on the front of her papers.
